How many times have you asked if someone has done something – and they’ve automatically replied with a very common expression;
“I haven’t got around to it yet”.
Loads right? It’s a sentence used by too many too often on a daily basis – whether it’s from my husband, my kids, the man at the postoffice, the lady I’m eavesdropping on the bus – and even myself!
We’re all stopping ourselves from doing what we want to do – because we haven’t got around to it yet.
It could be as simple as reading that magazine, applying for that new job, joining the gym, getting your hair did, or going on a date night with your other half… We’re all waiting for something that will make us pull our finger out.
It’s Mother’s Day this Sunday – the one day a year we can potentially ‘have off’ and enjoy that little bit of extra help more than usual. Isn’t it just magical?!
But wouldn’t it be nice to have this kind of treatment more often… from anyone?
So… I decided to have a little fun with this familiar declaration that I hear too frequently.
? Drum roll ?
As a special gift to all mothers this Mother’s Day –
I present you with your every own round ‘Tuit’
Instructions:
1. Print it and cut out
2. Keep it nearby (on a fridge door or in your bag for example)
3. Smugly hand your round Tuit over to anyone the next time they use this excuse.
4. Skip away whistling
5. Watch them get shit done
This is your very own round Tuit – look after it – they are very hard to come by. Now all those things that need to be done will surely be accomplished!
No more excuses!
Please let me know how this round Tuit is working out for you. I’d love to see your pictures of it hanging on your fridge or plastered to your colleagues computer (Use the hashtag #mamasroundtuit). It makes me happy knowing I’ve given you a very special gift on your ‘day off’.
I hope it motivates not only your peers but you too.
Thanks for reading, have a wonderful Mother’s Day, milk it as much as you can, and see you next week!

I’ve used it already today. It works!
My aunt and uncle had a plate that held the emblem A Round Tuit, handy if you hadn’t got a round tuit yet.
