Last month I was invited by River Island to their style studio with a bunch of mothers to have a night off.  Whoop!  We had some proper ‘Mama time’ to ourselves to look through an awesome collection of clothing from River Island, drink Prosecco, eat sushi, get our make up done, our nails done and basically have a wonderful evening of getting pampered.  We deserve it after all! This video was from the event – and I really hope you watch it!  It’s a nice message to ALL mothers –

Being a model in my 30’s … ahem…late 30’s can be tough.  Models are considered to be perfect beings – we are booked on how we look. Yikes! This can be extremely soul destroying at times, and I’ve leant  over the years, especially as I get older that I have to look after myself.  Not such a bad thing really – as who doesn’t want to take care of themselves? I’m a firm believer that women must get better with age, but when your livelihood relies on it, it can be

This months ‘Mama of the Month’ is 57 year old model Nicola Griffin.  Mother of twin girls, Nicky found herself giving up her day job and entering the fashion industry at the mature age of 53.  She’s now gracing the covers of glossy magazines and shooting swimwear campaigns with top models!  I was lucky enough to shoot with her in Italy on my first shot back after giving birth.  Nicky is a huge inspiration of mine and I absolutely LOVE her answers…   1.Tell us a little bit about yourself

You may be familiar with this TV commercial – it’s on your screens now and I’m the blonde girl . It all started the day of the casting.  I

I don’t know about you, but these Easter holidays are doing me in!  And it got me thinking… Has covering dark circles under your eyes starting to consume a lot of your time? Worried how tired you’ll look at the school gates or concerned about that skin above your eye lid looking a little baggy? Is the strain of motherhood starting to show in your face? Inevitably we’re all getting older and of course we’re all worried about looking older too.  Becoming a mother has definitely made me notice the dark

Question – Why do people feel the need to open other people’s bathroom cabinets? Are we trying to find a secret clue to a part of their life we know nothing about?  What do we think we’ll find? Are we that curious? We hosted a dinner party recently at our place – and of course the panic tidy up commenced.  Not only do I clear up the toys, the laundry (clean and dirty), pick away at the squashed raisins embedded on the wooden floor, and scrubbed the bathroom from top
