Happy New Year everyone! I know how overwhelming it can feel when January rolls around. Everywhere we look, there’s pressure to reinvent ourselves, set massive goals, and dive headfirst into a new routine. But let’s be real—life is already full. I’m doing my best this year to ease myself into the year and focus on just a few things I’d like to make progress on, but with no immediate pressure!

Small Actions = Progress
Ever since I changed my mindset to focus on the smaller things, rather than big goals that are often unachievable, I’ve found it much more fulfilling.
- Move your body – but in ways you actually enjoy! Dance with your kids, take a walk with a podcast or try a yoga session in your living room. FitOn is great for free workouts, from dance to Pilates!
- Buddy up – I often find it’s easier to do things with others, whether that’s a gym class with a friend, pram walking meet ups or hiring someone to get you motivated. I’m just about to try the PT sessions at my favourite @davidlloydclubs – I’ll keep you updated as to how they go!
- Joyful intentions – think about how you want to feel this year, and pick things you want to try that align with this
- “Me Time” – I’m always saying it, but give yourself those 10 minutes a day you deserve, this year I’d love to get back into reading more books!
- Hydrate, Nourish, and Rest – No need for extreme diets or schedules. Drink more water, add more veggies to your plate, and prioritise sleep
- Celebrate the little wins – you’ve done your first walk? Win. You took a deep breath during your child’s tantrum? Win. It adds up and all counts!

Vitamins & Supplements
As well as working on adding more healthy items to your diet, vitamins and supplements are essential in looking after our bodies. Whether you decide to visit your local health food shop for advice or have the budget to get a personalised vitamin plan online, make sure you check they work with you. Multi, Magnesium and B Vitamins are my absolute musts. I’m also trying to add more collagen to the mix this year too! Shop Vitamins & Supplements > Shop Personalised Vitamins >

For my fellow peri and menopause sufferers, I’ve just started using these specialist supplements containing natural phytoestrogens, herbals, vitamins & minerals to naturally target the symptoms associated with Perimenopause and Menopause while supporting your daily health and hormonal balance. I’m noticing a real difference already! They also do menstrual cycle and collagen sets too. Shop Key Supplements >
