Retinol. Some of us have heard about it, we all read about it, we all know a bit about it. As one of the most talked-about ‘miracle skin care ingredients’, retinol is hailed as the must-have ‘magic’ product
for your skin ageing concerns – however 6 in 10 women are unsure how to use it.
Retinol can help to smooth and brighten your skin, leaving you with a like-new feeling that can’t be beaten. It helps to gently re-surface and rejuvenate, targeting the underlying reasons for your loss of firmness while reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and uneven pigmentation.
Retinoic acid was found to have remarkable benefits for acne sufferers and approved as a medicine in the 196os. In the 1980s and early 90s evidence was also generated for its pro-ageing benefits. Retinol is now the ‘gold standard’ topical treatment for improving mature skin.
It is arguably the single most effective ingredient to use if you are looking for a skincare product that reduced the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation and restores skin radiance and healthy appearance.
